01Who brings you people

Neighbours join. Creators share.

Lots of people in Vienna would give a Saturday morning. They just don't know where. Hooodl puts your events where they already look, and local creators tell their followers about you.

02How it works

Five steps. Then repeat.

From your first post to people at the meeting point, and more of them every time.

  1. 01

    Tell us about you

Your association, your ZVR number and what you do. We verify you before anything goes live.

  2. 02

    Post what's coming up

A shift, an event or a weekly meetup. Date, place and how many people you need.

  3. 03

    People sign up

Neighbours find it on Hooodl or through a creator, and sign up with one tap.

  4. 04

    Tick who came

Scan their code at the meeting point, or tick names on the list.

  5. 05

    Thank them, repeat

Everyone who helped lands on your thank-you list. Then post the next one.

03What you can post

Three ways to bring people in.

People find them the way they look for things to do: by day, by topic, free or not, near them.

Volunteering

Shifts and one-off help. Say how many hands you need, and people sign up to help. Always free.

Workshops & events

A date, a place and a number of places. Free, or with tickets. People see how many places are left.

Regular meetups

Training, choirs, language cafés. Set it up once, and every date gets its own places and its own list.

04Spread the word

Creators help. For points, not pay.

Local creators share your events with the people who follow them. You choose who helps, you see what goes out, and it costs you nothing.

  1. Find creators who care

Hooodl suggests creators who post about your topic and your district, with reasons. Invite them, or accept those who offer to help.

  2. Points instead of fees

They get 20 Hooodl points for every person who comes, plus the “Supports local causes” badge. A paid reward is optional.

  3. See what goes out

Look at posts before they go live, and ask for changes if something isn't right.

  4. Thank them in public

Creators who helped show on your thank-you list, next to your volunteers.

05Your dashboard

Numbers that mean people, not sales.

Your home screen starts with what needs you, then shows how it's going: who signed up, who came, who's new and who's sharing.

06Your page

A home for your cause. Easy to find.

Your page shows your story, what's coming up, a donation button and everyone who helped. People, search engines and AI assistants can all read it.

07Questions

Good to know.

Who can join?

Clubs, associations, initiatives and NGOs with a ZVR number. Informal groups can post through a registered association. We verify every organisation before its first event goes live.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Social and community organisations use Hooodl for free, and volunteering never carries a commission.

How do people sign up?

In the Hooodl app or on the web. Anyone aged 14 or over signs up with one tap and gets a code to show at the meeting point.

How do we know who came?

Scan each person's code, or tick names on the list for that date. Only people who came count towards your numbers and towards creators' points.

Can we run things every week?

Yes. Set a repeating schedule once, and every date gets its own places and its own list.

How do creators help?

They share your events with their followers. For every person who comes, they get 20 Hooodl points and the “Supports local causes” badge. You can add a paid reward, but you don't have to.

Can people donate?

Yes. Add your own donation link and it shows as a button on your page. Hooodl doesn't handle the money.

Do we need an invite?

Hooodl is starting in Vienna, invite only. Apply in about two minutes, just taps, and we'll get back to you and set you up.
